Are you still using complicated 3D software just to place three volumes during early design?

I've just returned from holiday and discovered a new option in Claude Design: 3D.

Until now, it was mainly focused on websites and slides. Now we're talking about modelling.

Claude Design can do 3D and architecture

I decided to test it properly. I gave Claude sections and photos of a Kengo Kuma house and let it model the building in 3D, without specialist modelling software.

In the video, you'll see:

How to access 3D in Claude Design.
A complete modelling test using drawings and photos.
Claude's interpretation errors and how to correct them with contextual comments.
The Tweak function for creating several variants in parallel.
Export formats — OBJ, GLB and HTML — and compatibility with SketchUp and Revit.

Most of all: could it replace SketchUp, or is it too early?
